Srimala Elephant Camp in Krabi currently offers several visitor programs with different lengths and activities. PrivateTaxiKrabi can provide private road transport to the camp from a confirmed pickup point in Krabi or Ao Nang. The elephant experience itself is operated by Srimala Elephant Camp; PrivateTaxiKrabi does not operate or sell the camp program.

The camp controls its own program content, start times, availability and admission prices. Because these details can change, the current program and price should always be checked with the camp before the day of travel.

Program 1 — about 1.5 hours

The shortest current program focuses on close interaction at the camp. The published activities include feeding the elephants, taking photographs, a mud-spa activity and bathing with the elephants. The camp also lists fruit and a drink as part of this program.

Program 2 — about 2 hours

The two-hour option adds more time around the camp. In addition to feeding, photographs, mud and bathing, the published program includes a jungle walk with the elephants through the cocoa plantation and making herbal supplements for the elephants.

Program 3 — about 2.5 hours

The 2.5-hour program extends the plantation experience. The camp currently describes a walk through cocoa and palm areas, feeding and elephant interaction, mud and bathing, preparation of herbal supplements and painting a plaster elephant figure. Food, fruit and a drink are also listed by the camp.

Program 4 — about 3 hours

The longest current program includes the main elephant activities plus additional stops. The camp describes feeding and photographs, a plantation walk, mud and bathing, herbal-supplement preparation and painting an elephant figure. It also adds a visit to Thep Pra Than Cave, including a cave and nature stop and feeding fish there.

Make the elephant experience part of a full day

An elephant program can also be one stop in a full-day private-driver itinerary. Depending on the selected program, its start time and the conditions on the day, the route can be planned with other road-accessible Krabi attractions instead of returning directly after the camp visit.
